Anne Adams - Anne has been a professional dance instructor and choreographer for 11 years, working with students and organizations throughout New England. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont, where she not only received her dance education and served as president of the University’s dance company, but also earned a degree in Child Psychology. Anne’s 26 years of dance studies has also included training with the New York City Ballet, the International Thespian Society, and the Universal Dance Association.

As a professional, Anne served as Director of the Boys and Girls Club Performing Arts Program as well as Director of the New England Performing Arts Center. She was hired as a choreographer to do promotional work for Pepsi, Kiss FM, Clear Channel, and Ben and Jerry’s Corporation. Anne and her students were also chosen to perform at such venues as Disney World and the Royal Caribbean Cruise lines and a Pawtucket Red Sox Game.

With her expertise in dance, a degree in Child Psychology, and years of serious training as a Martial Artist, Anne believes her well-rounded background has helped her to develop a distinctive and successful teaching method that brings out the best in her students - both in and out of the classroom.

Kym Yadisernia - Kym began training at the Boston Ballet School at the age of six. She trained with Virginia Williams, Violette Verde, Ron Cunninham, and Bruce Marks to name a few. She went on to perform in many of their performances including Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, and The Nutcracker. She was chosen as the lead character “Clara” and was also featured on an episode of Chronicle spotlighting child prodigies. She spent summers in New York training with the School of American Ballet. While there, she had the opportunity to study with David Howard, and take many classes at Steps off Broadway and Broadway Dance Center.

As an adult, she started out as a Principal dancer with the North Atlantic Ballet Company. Later, Kym went on to dance professionally for Disneyworld, Opryland, Fiesta Texas, and Busch Gardens Williamsberg. She was a featured dancer for Grammy Award winning Lee Greenwood at the Lee Greenwood Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN and was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots. She has been a featured dancer in many Television Specials and industrials and was a costume model for Carwoods Costume magazine.

Kym has been teaching for 19 years. Many of her students have gone on to College as Dance and Musical Theater Majors. Several of her students have gone on to dance professionally on Broadway. Her choreography has won high awards and several of her students were selected to perform in Germany.

Kym currently resides in Norfolk with her husband Scott and their three sons.

 

Alex Bushery - Alex has been studying various disciplines of dance for 18 years, and over the past several years, has been teaching dance professionally to students of all ages in a multitude of styles. Alex is a senior at Framingham State College where she is pursuing a degree in Nutrition and serves as president of the college’s dance program. She is also a member of a select performance group called “Stylized Movement Dance Company” based out of Hudson, MA. Alex is an award winning performer and choreographer whose works also includes; the Boston Celtics, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. 
 

With extensive training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop, Alex has much to offer her students. She loves working with children of all ages to help them grow and achieve the confidence levels that allow them to love what they do as dancers.



Sandra O'Malley -
Sandy has worn many hats throughout her professional career, including owning her own company for the past 25 years. Sandra has received awards from local Senators in recognition of her dedication to enriching local students in the school system. In conjunction with running her own business she has been the Assistant Coordinator at a local dance studio for the past 10 years, as well as the Dance Company Coordinator. Sandy has always had a love of dance and studied dance for over tens years growing up.

At Encore Dance Academy, Sandy will serve as the Office Manager, managing all accounts receivables,registration information, ordering costumes, updating the web-site and directing all specialty activities, such as performance trips and booking guest teachers.


Ashton Lites - Ashton is the co-leader of "Sidestreet" with SYTYCD winner Russell Ferguson. He is a Krump dancer . He explored classical dance through the Reach Program at Boston University and at the Dance Studio of Braintree/ Braintree Ballet Company. Ashton regularly teaches master classes and workshops in Hip -Hop and Krump throughout the Boston. Ashton will be on an upcoming episode of Shake It up on the Disney Channel.
